This notice explains what our public website — www.intellisea.com — stores in your browser and what it sends to other companies. The Intellisea application at app.intellisea.com is a separate surface and is covered in section 5.
The inventory below was compiled by loading this website and recording what actually runs, rather than from what we assumed was running. It was last verified on 10 August 2026.
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Related technologies —
localStorage, and pixels or beacons that pass information in the act of
requesting an image — do the same job by other means, and everything here covers all of them.
Every item below is set by Google rather than by us, and the durations are the ones Google's own tags apply.
| Name | Category | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Analytics | Google Analytics. A pseudonymous identifier for your browser, used to tell a returning visit from a new one. | 2 years |
_ga_6G18JLGXGF |
Analytics | Google Analytics session state for our specific property. The suffix is our measurement ID. | 2 years |
_gcl_au |
Advertising | Google Ads conversion linker. Stores ad-click information so an enquiry can be attributed to the advert that produced it. | 90 days |
_gcl_ls(browser storage, not a cookie) |
Advertising | Google Ads. Serves the same attribution purpose as _gcl_au using localStorage. |
Until cleared |
_GRECAPTCHA |
Strictly necessary | Set by Google on google.com where a page carries a contact form, to score whether a submission is automated. Google states this is used for spam and abuse prevention, not advertising. |
6 months |
Beyond storage, the tags below transmit information — including your IP address, the page you are on, and your browser and screen characteristics — to Google.
| Technology | Category | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager GTM-KLW9ZMQ |
Container | Loads and governs everything else in this table. It sets no cookies of its own. |
| Google Analytics 4 G-6G18JLGXGF |
Analytics | Sends page views and interaction events to analytics.google.com. On our enquiry confirmation page it also sends a lead event. |
| Google Ads — conversion tracking 878300497, 17474305515 |
Advertising | Sends requests to googleads.g.doubleclick.net, www.googleadservices.com, www.google.com/ccm/collect and ad.doubleclick.net recording that a visit — and, on our confirmation page, an enquiry — took place. |
| Google Ads — remarketing 878300497, 17474305515 |
Advertising | Adds your browser to our advertising audience lists via www.google.com/pagead/1p-user-list/ and www.google.com/rmkt/collect/, so Google can show you our adverts elsewhere. |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Strictly necessary | Loads on pages carrying a contact form and scores the submission for automated abuse. |
| Google Fonts | Strictly necessary | Serves the typeface from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. It sets no cookies, but requesting the file discloses your IP address to Google. |
Not every tag runs on every page: the analytics and advertising tags run site-wide, the conversion event runs only on our enquiry confirmation page, and reCAPTCHA runs only on pages with a form.
Who receives the data. All of the above goes to Google — Google LLC in the United States, and Google Ireland Limited for visitors in the EEA and the UK. For these purposes Google acts as an independent controller under its own Privacy Policy, and may combine what it collects here with data from its other services. No other advertising or analytics company receives data from this website: there is no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn insight tag, and no session-recording or heat-mapping tool.
app.intellisea.com behaves differently. It uses cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to run it — keeping you signed in, holding your session, and remembering interface preferences. It carries no advertising or analytics tags. Section 8 of our Privacy Policy covers it.
You can switch off the analytics and advertising described above at any time:
If you are in California. We do not sell personal information for money. Using advertising cookies to build audiences may nonetheless count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA. The Google My Ad Center link above, or blocking cookies in your browser, is how to opt out. You may also write to us at the address in section 8.
This notice was written from an observed inventory rather than an assumed one, because an earlier version of our Privacy Policy was wrong about this precisely for want of that check. When a tag is added to or removed from our tag container, this page is to be re-verified against what the site actually loads, and re-dated.
